South Africa Packham Pear – 4 pcs

This Australian-bred pear was originally grown in 1896 by Charles Packham, and became so popular that it’s also known as Packham’s Triumph. These bulbous, wide-bottomed pears learn slightly to one side. Their green skin is covered in tiny russet speckles and ripens to a light yellow. These fruit are delicious eaten fresh, as they’re among the sweetest and juiciest of pears. They’re very versatile and are also ideal for cooking, baking, poaching and canning. Try them sautéed with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon .
